VELENCE

Count Wickenburg Castle and the privately owned, beautifully renovated Beck Castle, or Weichheim Castle, now a library, will be appreciated by those who are sensitive to the beauties of architecture. The Bod László Gallery is for those who like exhibition spaces that provide a meeting place for those interested in fine arts and music.

Just a few minutes walk along the direct pedestrian path and you can already feel like you are on a sandy beach. The Gate of Lake Venice Velence Korzó is increasingly becoming a community living space where a balance is achieved between shopping and entertainment, work and relaxation, where families, friends and business partners can enrich themselves with shared experiences.

This project brought about the renewal of the southern area of Venice in such a way that the natural attraction – Lake Venice – is connected with quality tourist attractions and services, which are accompanied by high-quality programs in the area of Velence Korzó.

The Gate of Lake Venice is a multipurpose center designed based on a unique and innovative concept based on the needs of the population of the region and the tourists visiting it.

Some data:

    • 3,500 sqm of lido-sandy beach for the free beach,
    • 5,500 sqm of service building,
    • of which 2,735 sqm is the area of shops.

The commercial, entertainment and tourist center, built on 20 hectares, simultaneously offers the essence of a city center, a community and event space, a pedestrian street, a service center, a sophisticated and modern free beach, and a recreational leisure space.

We pay special attention to the development of the cultural life of Lake Velence and its surroundings. To the best of our ability, we wish to provide a permanent forum for well-known and recognized figures of Hungarian cultural life, thereby contributing to the development of community and intellectual life in Velence.
